Dhuni & Havan
The Fire is sacred and is the witness of spiritual practice. It is considered divine. In ancient India, the Rishis guarded their sacred fire most carefully and kept it clean as it was believed to be the residence of divinity. Sitting by the Dhuni purifies one’s vibrations. Also offerings can by made to the fire, alone or as a group. It has a healing and blessing effect on participants and surroundings. It brings peace all around.
The origin of Creation stems from the havan. The havan is the real form of the Gods. Whatever we offer to the havan goes directly to the Gods who are being invoked. By doing havan, people gain happiness and love for each other. By the smoke from the havan, harmful germs in the atmosphere are destroyed and the good bacteria, useful to life, grow in it. It provides plenty and increases prosperity in the world.
